PROJECT / CONTRACTS MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join us and work on projects nationwide. In the short term, the majority of current projects are Dublin.
The suitable applicant will be responsible for the following:
Overseeing 2/3 projects concurrently
Management and supervision of site foremen, fitters and other subcontractors
Strict adherence to the highest levels of Quality and Health & Safety.
Ensuring that Management are kept updated with site progress and commercial issues
Proactively assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
Ensure that a robust system of site records for all labour, plant, materials, staff, etc are kept as support for cost substantiation in the event of change and or delays to the contract works.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for variations and additions on a monthly basis in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with the contract.
Assist in the preparation of project final accounts
Actively participate in site project meetings and ensure that all commercial matters are discussed and problems investigated and resolved
Applicants will be required to demonstrate:
Minimum of 5 year’s site experience working with structural steel, balustrades and fabricated products.
Previous Contracts Management experience preferably for a steelwork fabricator and erector
Experience in a wide variety of contracts, in particular high rise in the industrial & commercial sector
The ability to prioritise multiple concurrent projects under stringent time, quality and budgetary constraints
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
Competent working knowledge of Word, Outlook and excellent Excel skills
SITE SUPERVISOR
We are looking for an experienced Site Service Manager to oversee the management of all site installation Services.
The successful candidate must be able to deliver the site based activities independently and efficiently. This role is for a manager who understands what is means to be hands on, for someone who wants to take ownership of all site based activities. We are looking for a dedicated person to invest time, training and provide a modern, long lasting working relationship.
Potential candidates MUST have the equivalent of 10 years of experience in managing mechanical site teams, be fluent in English, be apprenticeship qualified and have a level of further education, preferably degree qualified. You must also have clean driving license.

Necessary duties comprise:
- Delivering all aspects of site based projects following a kickoff meeting with Project manager to signing off with our clients
- Liaise with Project managers, plan and report on project requirements
Attend kick off meetings
Understand project requirements
Execute projects by managing trade staff
Scheduling of all site based projects
Managing Mechanical nad fabrication resources for site based projects
Be the first point of contact for Mechanical staff on all site based activities
Managing site based expenditure
Reporting on progress
Ensuring QA, H&S and Environmental standards are maintained
Resolving issues at site level
Signing off projects
- Working with Site Managers and Supervisors to ensure projects run smoothly
Ordering equipment, materials and arranging subcontract services
Planning ahead and keep all staff busy
Ensuring time, material and expenses are booked to the correct projects
- Hands on experience in most of the following fields
Installation of equipment, pipe-work and structural steel
Machine maintenance, repair and overhaul
Machining
Site Welding
Site Management
Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality management and paperwork
- Must be fully computer literate and operate company and project management systems
- Very good understanding of reading engineering drawings
- Ensure staff are working safely and work is done to the right quality
- Writing or approving Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Ensure quality control and management is undertaken, paperwork is essential
- Must be able to liaise with Clients, Management, Engineers, Fabricators, Welders, Fitters, Machinists and GO's
- Must be able to manage the ups and downs of all personnel issues and resolve most problems before escalation to management
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Personal attributes:
have considerable technical knowledge of Mechanical Fitting techniques, Steel Erecting and other related disciplines, particularly fabrication and welding (essential)
Be able to mold and train mechanical personnel and act as a role model, particularly for apprentices
the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems (essential)
have a positive attitude, be eager to work and can work on own initiative
Must be self-motivated and high energy
have good inter-personal skills with the ability to integrate into the existing engineering team, and work alongside colleagues of other disciplines

FABRICATOR
We are looking for experienced steel fabricators, welders and site erectors/fitters to do good quality work, safely at the right speed and get paid a very competitive rate per hour. We have long term work and are looking for dedicated people that we can invest time, training and provide a modern, long lasting and lively workplace.
We are urgently looking for site installation and erection staff. It is mostly installation and fitting work, if you can weld to the right standard it would be a great advantage. We are well organised and believe in getting things right, you must have your own tools (we provide power tools), arrive on site and take ownership and do a good job..
Potential candidates MUST have a minimum 5 years of experience in the Irish market, you must also have clean driving license. A SafePass, Manual Handling and Abrasive wheels would be ideal.
Our projects included fabricated Balustrade, Handrailing, Balconies, Gates/Railings, Sheet metal work, Stainless Steel and general products.
The job is site based work which is mostly around the Dublin Area.
Necessary duties comprise:

DELIVERY / TRUCK DRIVER
We are a fabrication company looking for an enthusiastic lorry driver with Category C licence with CPC up to date to deliver our own steel products and assist in the erection utilising our truck with a lorry loading crane (Hiab). If you don't have an Hiab license, we will provide training. Already having a license will be an advantage.
Additionally, when not doing deliveries or site work we would expect the successful applicant to be flexible and assist with other duties such as deliveries and collections in our vans.. This is an interesting job that would suit someone who like variety and is willing to get stuck in.
Most importantly we are looking for a decent, respectful, motivated person who can think on their feet and work without supervision.
